Students begin studying the Madinan period through The Sealed Nectar, exploring the establishment of the Muslim community, key battles, treaties, and the development of the Islamic state.
By the end of the semester, students will understand the major events of the early Madinan period and recognize the Prophet ﷺ as a leader, teacher, and statesman.

Using The Sealed Nectar, students study the early life of the Prophet ﷺ, the beginning of revelation, and the first half of the Makkan period, highlighting the foundations of Islam and the challenges faced by the early Muslims.
